In a way, Valco Tri Mode Twin strollers remind us of the kind of vehicle you might see moving across the Australian outback: ready for anything, every nook and cranny loaded down with survival gear, and multiple passengers seated securely in a machine meant to handle some of the roughest terrain imaginable. The Valco Tri Mode Twin Toddler Seat adds one more element, and passenger, to the copious utility of the Tri Mode Twin stroller.

The Valco Twin Toddler Seat mounts to the front of the Valco Tri-Mode Twin stroller, centered between the two passenger seats. A third child can then sit in the Valco Twin, transforming this double stroller into a triple passenger territory toppling machine. The Twin Toddler seat does not obstruct the two seated passengers in any way, but keep in mind that the child in the toddler seat has zero sun protection and no footrest. For rain and sun protection, you'll need to purchase the Valco Toddler Seat Hood.

  • The maximum weight capacity for the toddler seat, and stroller seats, is 45lbs each.

Note: Valco Baby suggests that you use the Tri-Mode's 45-degree swivel wheel mode for improved steering control when using the Twin Toddler Seat.

I'd give up my car before my Twin Runabout Tri-Mode with Toddler Seat!

I've owned this stroller for a year now. I have a 3 year old (40 lbs) and twin 18 month olds. I use it 4-5 days a week for a stroller workout (Stroller Strides). It's easy to maneuver, and even though it adds up to about 225 lbs. with kids, toys, etc., I can still run with it on the crowded boardwalk! The only negatives (price and weight) are no different from other joggers for 3. The best part is, when my oldest starts pre-school, I'll just have the twin jogger, not some massive 3-wide stroller.

I already had Valco twin. I have 11-month old twins and a 2 yr. old (& a 4 yr. old!!). My 2 yr. old LOVES it! It actually makes him the star for a change....usually the twins get all the attention when we are out! My 4 yr. old can actually fit in the seat too if he needs a break from walking! I wish I did this a year ago!
