The Skip Hop Expo has something to hide. When closed, its dimensions and appearance are very similar to the original Duo diaper bag. But open the expansion zipper, and the bottom of the bag extends to 7 inches deep for 50% more storage space!

Because of the expansion, the Expo doesn't offer side pockets, but rest assured there is plenty of room to stash your stuff. What a Great Bag!

Before the Expo, I'd never had a Skip Hop before but heard wonderful things about them. I ordered one since we are expecting our third child under 5 and wanted a versatile bag that wasn't too big or bulky. The Expo is perfect! The stroller clips are great, the color is exactly as shown, it's durable and has tons of storage space. I would recommend this bag to everyone!

skip/hop bag

I love the bag except one small item. I have not had this bag a year yet and I already have a hole in one of the front pouches. It doesn't effect the use of the pouch (I use it for a sippy cup) but it bothers me that it is there in such a short time!

Skip Hop Expo

I purchased the Skip Hop Expo as I had heard great things about the features of the bag. I chose the Expo over the Duo because of the expandable feature (where you unzip the bottom of the bag to allow for more room). Unfortunately, I have since purchased a different diaper bag. I just got too frustrated with trying to reach deep into the bag to find things. Also, if the short pockets at top are filled there is less room to allow for pulling things out of the bag. Also, the velcro at the side pocket where the changing pad is located is annoying. If the bag is full (which it always is) the velcro would keep closing and it would be a 2-handed job to get the pad out which is not always possible when you are trying to hold a baby/toddler. Also, with the expo, I missed having side bottle pockets.

On the plus side: the durability of the fabic is great and I like the feature of being able to quickly adjust the straps to hang from a stroller handle. In my opinion, this bag is good for moms with one older toddler where only a minimal amount needs to be carried.
