Our Review of the Kettler Jumbo tricycle w/Pushbar
The Kettler Jumbo w/ Pushbar is intended for larger kids who might be too tall for most regular models of tricycles. The high carbon steel frame is basically built a bit larger and all of the great features of a regular Kettler tricycle are still included. This trike is recommended for children for one year old up to five.
The frame itself is compatible with the tandem insert for multiple children. The five position Quik-Adjust system makes it pretty easy to adjust for different height ranges. A limited turn radius ensures that your kid will avoid any unnecessary spills from tight turns.
Also included with the Kettler Jumbo:
- Dual wheel rear handbrake
- Treaded tires
- Easy tipping bucket
- Fade resistant powder coat finish
- 3-point safety belt that attaches to the seat
In pushbar mode, the Auto-Freewheel system allows kids to pedal, brake or just rest their feet when mom or dad is pushing. The parental control system can be turned on or off with just a twist of a button so that parents can control where their child is going. The pushbar attaches and detaches easily. The newest feature to the Kettler Jumbo is a 3-point safety belt that attaches to the seat.

Kettler Jumbo tricycle w/Pushbar Reviews
Kettler jumbo tricycle
Love it!
Great tough bike for little ones
Not a fantastic bike but it is a nicer outdoor experience for children!!!
Pros: My son likes it. A nice outdoor experience much nicer than a stroller.
Cons: Play in steering wheel after lock switch engaged. No parking brake. Footrest needs foot strap.
I bought the product to be used much like a stroller. I thought it would make for a better outdoor experience for my 19 month old son. There are three flaws. #1. There is a little play in the steering wheel even after the lock switch is engaged. This makes for zigzagging and a frustrating ride for the Navigator-Mom. We live in a hilly area and this flaw is obvious and can be irritating. #2. There is no parking brake on the bike which is necessary if you are on a hill and need to stop (NOT ROLL) especially since this bike is for small children. #3 The foot rest needs an additional strap for the feet of small children or children who may be disabled so that their feet can stay on the foot rest. With small children expect to roll over shoes and feet until they are much older or until you find a way to strap those feet to the foot rest. I am writing a letter to the company in hopes that they will make some modifications that can be easily added to the bikes that have already been purchased.
