Our Review of the Graco Harmony high chair

The Graco Harmony Highchair is simple to use, and it?s packed with features. It has a rounded shape with adjustable height, so you can pull the chair right up to the dinner table for a family meal. A simple one-handed method reclines the seat to one of four positions, keeping your baby comfortable and relaxed during mealtime. Caster-style wheels allow for easy rolling when you need to move the chair around, and all four can lock to a stationary position.

Because it's a foldable high chair, you can easily store it in a closet if kitchen space is tight. A dishwasher safe tray insert is a big plus at cleanup time. The seat pad is removable, and pad, tray, footrest, and frame can all be easily wiped clean. This Graco high chair also gives parents the choice of using a 3- or 5-point harness to keep your child safe and secure?a great option, since many other high chairs out there rely on a simpler seat belt system.

Poor quality

I ordered this highchair as a shower gift. Thank heavens I opened it due to the box falling apart. I set it up and immediately it felt rickety...not solid. The tray was hard to latch and when adjusting the highchair taller, it felt like it could collapse. I felt the quality as a whole just wasn't there. One good quality was I liked the look and design in the seat fabric. The highchair was sharpe to look at.

Comments from The Staff:

It's true, with Graco, you don't get the same quality as you do with some other brands, like Boon and Peg Perego, but their high chairs are functional, and certainly serve their purpose!

Graco Products

I've owned Graco Products in the past and plan to purchase more with this pregnancy. I never had any problems with any of my prodcuts. I've had a high chair, Stroller with Car Seat and Swing. I think the staff here is being snobby and I will never purchase anything from them. Graco has the number one safety standing for their Snug Rider infant seats and you say their products are bad. Bad on you as the staff to make such a comment!

Comments from The Staff:

I certainly don't think Graco is a bad company, nor do I believe that anyone on our staff thinks that Graco makes bad products. We wouldn't carry them, if we believed that. Graco's products are not necessarily heirloom quality, like some of the other brands we sell - but they are good products, and we stand behind them 100%.

As far as safety standards for car seats - all car seats must pass the same safety regulations set forth by NHTSA, so one car seat is no safer than another - all seats are equally as safe, whether they cost $50 or $500. Graco does make a very popular, and well known seat called the SnugRide, and we sell seats I like more, and seats I like less, but Graco's seat is a very good seat - if they didn't make good products, they wouldn't be one of the world's best known and most trusted juvenile product companies.

Graco Harmony High Chair, Bancroft

*Nicest chair ever seen.
*Seat cradles baby to keep baby from falling to the side.
*Nice straps to keep baby from falling out.
*Has plastic section to seperate legs to keep baby from sliding down.
*Three different trays that stack on top of each other.
*Rollers on legs that have locks on them.
*I can go on and on about how nice this chair is, but it would take over my 4000 character limit on the review content.

This thing is junk

Reviewer: Anonymous , VA Date: September 29, 2006
I'm not sure how anyone can say this high chair is good. My son (1yr) can rip the tray off one his own with no problem. The craftmanship is some of the worst I've ever seen. It's barely a year old and is already falling apart. The flip over toy bar is a great idea, but the attachment mechanism is broken. The wheels don't roll, so they leave streaks on the floor. It's JUNK, and the poor quality has turned me off from Graco products altogether.

Comments from the Staff: Whew... We've heard complaints about Graco products before, but rarely this strong. Its important to note before buying that there is some legitimacy to this review. Graco has never been renowned for its quality. You can find them at Walmart, and tend to win your purchase based on price, not performance. We sell them becuase many customer's have price as their priority. The truth is, you simply don't see Graco products passed down; they tend to get thrown out or recycled, but not reused. Thank you very much for the feedback.

After searching everywhere to find a highchair that has everything for the least amount of money I found this highchair for my son. In no way do I regret buying this chair.
