Go-Go Babyz gogo Kidz Travelmate

The GoGo Kidz Travelmate is an innovative device that basically turns your car seat into a wheeled tote, like any heavy piece of luggage with a wheeled base. It completely eliminates the need to carry your car seat while you travel, and, if you like, you can leave your child strapped in and bring them along for the ride. One hand will always remain free while you negotiate the train station, bus depot, airport, or the aisles of an airplane.

The Universal Travelmate uses 5" roller blade wheels to smooth out the ride, and has a 3-position telescoping handle for height adjustment and storage. Its easy to assemble, easier to attach, and even though the original Travelmate was only compatible with a limited number of Britax car seats, the Universal Travelmate works with a long list of convertible car seats.

Check below to make sure your seat will work with the Go-Go Babyz gogo Kidz Travelmate. In a pinch it can work as a substitute for a stroller, we just wouldn't recommend it. This is best used on smooth, even surfaces, as repeatedly rolling your Travelmate over rough terrain may result in the wheels wearing out, and its lack of shock absorption would make for a less-than-pleasant ride for your child.

*This list is not exhaustive. Go-Go Babyz is continually testing the compatibility of the Universal Travelmate with new seats, and will be offering regular updates of new compatible models. **The Alpha Omega 3-in-1 car seat has a removable base for certain situations such as airline use.  The gogo Kidz Travelmate only fits with the base removed and the Thumbscrews positioned in the second hole from the top.  See page 43 of Cosco owners manual to remove base.

***The gogo Kidz was originally designed to connect to the metal clips on the side of the RECARO Young Sport seat, but some designs of RECARO do not have these and many of them have been broken and not usable.  In addition, gogo Kidz found the newer RECARO seats have a very rounded bottom which prevents the gogo Kidz from attaching properly.
