Our Review of the Burley Kazoo Blue trailercycle
Ride with your child on a warm spring day and teach them the balance and control necessary for solo cycling with the Burley Kazoo Trailercycle. Burley has included everything needed in a trailercycle: a 20" wheel for smooth riding, an adjustable handlebar and seatpost for comfort at many heights, and an easy hitch system. They've also thrown in the Burley Moose Rack to give parents instant cargo-carrying capabilities.
Burley's patented ball-bearing guided hitch with a double locking mechanism easily clamps into place, leading to instant riding fun. Simply slide the lever, set the hitch plate on the rack, engage the safety pins, and tighten a knob. Assembling the trailercycle requires a wrench, but doesn't require hours of work.
Your child will enjoy a smooth ride thanks to a 20-inch wheel and a durable steel frame. The hitch sits perpendicular to the ground, which contributes to the Kazoo's superior handling and stability. Because the hitch is ball-bearing guided, the trailercycle won't wobble around. The adjustable handle and seat post accommodate growth spurts.
The included safety flag and reflectors keep kids visible and safe. Being single speed, the Kazoo is appropriate for kids just starting to ride with mom and dad. Parents wanting to give their children a little more control should consider the Chariot Catch 'Em.
