Baby Jogger is releasing a very special, Limited Edition City Series Single Stroller for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October 2006. All the excellent features and functions common to the City Series line are still here, but with some excellent new additions for 2007. A portion of all proceeds from these Limited Edition Pink Baby Jogger strollers will go to breast cancer research.
The patented Quick-Fold mechanism used in Baby Jogger's Q and City Series strollers is probably the fastest and easiest of any stroller on the market. Just grab the handle at the base of the seat, lift, and your Limited Edition City Series Single is folded and ready to be carried and stowed. Lock the front wheel into the fixed position, and the City Series' 12" air-filled wheels are suitable for light jogging, or you can leave the front swivel wheel loose for total maneuverability. It also features an adjustable height handlebar, and these new additions for 2007:
- Quick and easy one-handed recline adjustment.
- Fully adjustable "Floating" sun canopy that makes it easy to shade your passenger no matter where you're headed or what time of day it is.
Only 600 versions this Limited Edition Pink swivel wheel stroller will be released, with a portion of the proceeds from each going directly to the Virginia Commonwealth University's Massey Cancer Center. The 175 physicians and researchers at the VCU Massey Center are working diligently to discover new methods and approaches to the treatment of cancer, tailoring treatment plans for each individual patient, researching new treatment techniques, and contributing findings toward the solution to what VCU Director Gordon D. Ginder, M.D. calls the "cancer puzzle". His hope is that one day, when the puzzle is completely pieced together, "cancer research will be obsolete."
